"They're playing games." Friedrich Merz and other European leaders fear US betrayal of Ukraine.
It seems that concern is growing among European leaders that the US government may abandon Ukraine in negotiations with Russia, writes Bild.

Der Spiegel magazine reports on a telephone conference involving several heads of state and government in Europe. Among them were German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and Finnish President Alexander Stubb. The magazine quotes excerpts from an English transcript of the conversation:
"There is a possibility that the US will betray Ukraine on the issue of territories without clarity regarding security guarantees," Macron said in the English-language transcript of the conference.
Merz warned that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should be "extremely careful in the coming days": "They are playing games - with you and with us," Merz warned.
The Chancellor was likely referring to two American negotiators - Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Finnish President Stubb echoed the same sentiment: "We must not leave Ukraine and Volodymyr alone with these guys," he said in one episode of the conversation.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte agreed: "I agree with Alexander: we must protect Volodymyr."
None of the participants in the telephone conversation confirmed the contents of the transcript to Der Spiegel magazine. According to the publication, the call took place on Monday. By this point, the 28-point peace plan that Witkoff and Kushner are discussing with Russian representatives had already leaked to the press.

Добра што ёсць Мерц і Эўропа, якая ніколі не здрадзіць Украіне, і калі будзе патрэбна, нават пашле сваі войска, каб разбіць маскоўскую арду!
