Ukrainian AI Drones Autonomously Shoot Down "Shaheds": Put into Production
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov published a video of the work of new-generation artificial intelligence (AI) based interceptors, which are already being produced and used.

The technology successfully passed combat tests in Kharkiv region and automates 95% of the entire sky defense process, Fedorov reported.
According to him, the project went from prototype to the front in less than a year.

Today the system works as follows:
Automatic launch and guidance — the system independently lifts the drone into the air, guides it along the route, recognizes and targets an enemy kamikaze drone. The operator sees the movement of objects in real-time, selects the priority target, and gives the final command for destruction.
Such autonomy allows the air defense system to instantly react to mass raids, effectively protect cities, and close the sky using its own high technologies, the developers state.
