Israel Decides to Halt Strikes on Iran

According to Israeli media reports, Israeli authorities have decided to halt military strikes on Iran. As sources claim, this decision was made after negotiations between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a small circle of ministers, and it aligns with a request from US President Donald Trump.

At the same time, it is reported that Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory may continue. Jerusalem states that in the event of new attacks by the Shiite radical movement "Hezbollah," operations against its facilities will be resumed.

Earlier on the same day, the Iranian military command also announced the cessation of attacks against Israel. However, Tehran warned that in the event of further hostilities, including Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon, the response could be more severe.

Against this backdrop, Reuters reported drone attacks on objects of Kurdish armed formations in Iraq near the city of Sulaymaniyah. According to security sources, one strike was carried out on a Peshmerga base (Kurdish armed forces), the second — on a camp of Iranian Kurdish opposition groups.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed the opinion that negotiations between the USA and Iran may soon lead to the achievement of set goals, and called on all parties to exercise restraint.
