Barys Khusainau held a managerial position in the service structure of the large machine-building holding "Amkodor". His persecution is likely linked to the Hayun case.

Barys Khusainau is 31 years old. In 2018, he graduated from the private Institute of Entrepreneurial Activity with an economist diploma specializing in "commercial activity".
The man worked as the deputy head of a department at "Amkodor-SpetsService". This enterprise is part of the now nationalized "Amkodor" holding and deals with diagnostics, repair, and sale of spare parts for loaders and other equipment.
Barys enjoys cars and travel.

Khusainau's verdict came into force in December 2025. He was found guilty under parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code ("facilitating extremist activity").
Most often, people are prosecuted under this article for sending messages to the "Belaruski Hayun" project bot.
The court sentenced Barys Khusainau to house arrest.
The man was also added to the "list of extremists" maintained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Belarusian authorities consider "extremism" to be subscribing to independent channels, media, having links to them on social networks, or having Belarusian national, pre-Lukashenka symbols on social networks or items. "Extremism" also includes almost any criticism of the authorities, official historical narratives, or expressions of solidarity with Ukraine.
