On December 15, a 40-meter replica of the Statue of Liberty collapsed in the Brazilian city of Guaíba due to a strong hurricane.

The monument stood in a parking lot near a large store and a public catering establishment. At a certain moment, under the influence of the wind, the statue tilted and then collapsed. The monument's head broke into many pieces. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

By the way, this replica of the famous American Statue of Liberty was part of a whole series of similar structures placed near Havan chain stores throughout Brazil.
