The average pension in Belarus today is approaching one thousand rubles. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, it currently stands at 980 rubles.

Pensioners can expect changes already next year: in 2026, payments are planned to increase by almost 15 percent. As a result, the average pension will grow to approximately 1100 rubles.
The Ministry of Labor reminded that the amount of pension payments is calculated individually. It is influenced by length of service, salary level in previous years, as well as the right to various allowances and increases.
Additionally, a new procedure for calculating pensions has been in effect since early 2025. Now, when assigning them, earnings for the last 30 years of employment are taken into account, which can also affect the amount of payments, writes "Minskaya Pravda".
