"Gomselmash" is looking for a candidate for the position of director of its branch in Argentina. The salary is promised from 3,000 rubles, while it is necessary to be proficient in English or Spanish at a level no lower than B2 and be ready for a shift work schedule — spending at least 6 months a year in Argentina.
On social media, this offer was mocked for the low salary for such a position:
"3 thousand rubles in Argentina? Maybe dollars?"
"A shift-working manager in Argentina on a welder's salary in Minsk…."
Users were surprised that a suitable candidate could not be found among the company's employees and that a branch director was being sought via an advertisement:
"What a state things must be in when even for such sweet spots there are no internal candidates."
Comments claim that the average salary for an engineer in Argentina is $2500. Some noted:
"You can bring your family on a work visa. If a child is born there, they get a passport; then, through family reunification, get your own passport and calmly resign. Consider it a free scheme to leave."
Commentators also questioned whether per diem would be paid for six months abroad and mocked the phrase "dormitory provided for non-residents."
