From March 1, groups for children under two years old will open in kindergartens in all regions of Belarus
From March 1, groups for children under two years old will start operating in every district of the country. This is reported by sb.by with reference to representatives of the Ministry of Education.

According to the department, in 2025, 90.1% of children aged one to six years are covered by educational services. However, until now, the preschool education system has been primarily focused on children from two years of age.
At the same time, according to the law, it is possible to send children under two years of age to kindergartens by opening groups for the first early age (up to one year), second early age (from one to two years), as well as mixed-age groups (from one to seven years).
Currently, according to Albina Davidovich, Head of the Preschool Education Department of the Ministry of Education, 335 groups for children under two years of age are operating in 318 educational institutions. She added that family demands are changing: more and more parents, especially mothers, plan to return to work earlier, which creates a need for places for young children.
