Woman killed in accident in Zhlobin district

On August 13, at about 3:00 PM, a fatal road traffic accident occurred in the Zhlobin district, according to the State Automobile Inspectorate of Gomel region.

Reportedly, a 61-year-old driver of a Nissan car lost control of the vehicle on the 241st kilometer of the M-5 Minsk — Gomel highway. The car overturned and went into a ditch.

As a result of the accident, a 35-year-old woman was thrown from the car. She died at the scene from her injuries.

Two other people – a 40-year-old man and an 87-year-old woman – sustained injuries. They were taken to the hospital.
