Police have detained a 29-year-old Belarusian man on the island of Bali. He is suspected of drug trafficking as part of an international network.

Police received a tip-off that suspicious packages were being sent through a post office in the tourist area of Kuta. The Belarusian devised a cunning scheme: he used the data of a local resident to have packages received in their name, and then left them in the hotel lobby. The Belarusian would pick them up later.
During searches, police confiscated almost half a kilogram of marijuana from the man, which he had been sent from Switzerland via an acquaintance on Telegram, and about 34 grams of cocaine, which, according to him, he brought from Georgia.
The detainee was not officially employed anywhere and, according to the investigation, was involved in distributing drugs among tourists.
Indonesia has strict anti-drug laws. The Belarusian now faces up to life imprisonment.
In the north of Belarus, a huge lake existed — 150 times larger than Narach. It disappeared as a result of a natural disaster, but its traces are visible today
