In the Samara region, the Novokuibyshevsk and Syzran oil refineries came under attack. Local authorities confirmed the strikes on industrial enterprises.
According to available information, the tank farm at the Syzran refinery was damaged. This plant processes millions of tons of oil annually and supplies fuel to several regions of Russia, including producing gasoline, diesel, and other products.
The Novokuibyshevsk refinery is also a large enterprise that produces various types of fuel, including aviation fuel.
In the Krasnodar Krai, an oil depot in Tikhoretsk caught fire after a drone attack. It is connected to an important oil transportation hub in southern Russia. Hundreds of rescuers and dozens of units of equipment extinguished the fire.
In Sevastopol, a fire occurred at an oil depot in Kozacha Bay — a fuel residue tank caught fire there after a drone was shot down.
In addition, a fire was reported in the area of the port of Vysotsk in the Leningrad region, where terminals for transshipment of petroleum products and gas are located.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that more than 250 drones were destroyed in various regions of the country during the night.
