Ornithologists installed a camera on a black stork's nest. Good news has already come from it PHOTO FACT
In the 'Middle Pripyat' reserve, there is a very high nesting density of black storks — 28-32 pairs per 100 square kilometers. This is one of the highest indicators in Europe. This year, a gsm-camera was installed on one of the nests, writes the Telegram channel 'Wild Nature Nearby'.

This year, a gsm-camera was installed on one of the black stork nests by Pavel Pakul, an employee of the Scientific and Practical Center for Bioresources of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
A few days ago, a photo came from it, showing that there are already four eggs in the nest.
Thanks to this camera, it is possible to monitor life in this Polesian nest throughout the season.
The black stork, which, unlike the white stork, tries to avoid people and settles in the most remote and hard-to-reach areas, was chosen by Belarusians as the bird of the year 2026.
