Another festival canceled in Belarus

The "Svyata Sontsa" (Sun Festival) festival will not take place this year, the organizers announced in their Telegram channel.

The folk festival "Svyata Sontsa" was regularly held in Dudutki and was timed to coincide with the Summer Solstice Day. Last year it was held on June 15.

Last year, it was positioned as a grandiose fire and pyrotechnics show with the participation of folk-rock bands, master classes in blacksmithing, pottery, weaving, a fair, as well as traditional rituals: weaving wreaths, jumping over bonfires, and more.

Previously, the rock festival "Sonnastayanne" in Pruzhany, the city festival Festiwow, and the Wostraw festival in Nesvizh were canceled.
