More than 13 thousand Minsk graduates gathered at "Minsk-Arena". Listened to Lyosha Svik PHOTOS
All Minsk eleventh-graders — almost 13.5 thousand people — were invited to the last bell ceremony at "Minsk-Arena", reports the "Minsk-Novosti" agency.

The theme of the event was maritime: the celebration took place in the form of a show-cruise "On the Waves of the Minsk Sea", with decorations resembling ships, a captain-host, melodies from "Pirates of the Caribbean", and a modern version of the sailor's dance "Yablochko" performed by young dancers.

It also featured purely ideological elements — including a choir performing the national anthem.

The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Uladzimir Kukharau, and the Minister of Education, Andrei Ivanets, who addressed the graduates with speeches.

Andrei Ivanets shared brilliant prospects:
"For our part, we have opened the doors of universities and colleges. This year, we expect more than 49 thousand first-year students in universities and almost 70 thousand students in colleges."

The headliner of the evening was Russian performer Lyosha Svik.
