State TV announced a film about a Lithuanian citizen sentenced to 15 years for espionage
Lithuanian citizen Miroslavas Trockis (Miroslav Trocki) went to Belarus in autumn 2024 to visit relatives, but did not return home. He was recently sentenced to 15 years in a penal colony. Now ONT, together with the KGB, will show a film about him.

Miroslavas Trockis is 35 years old. He lived in Vilnius. It is known from open sources that the Lithuanian had close ties with Belarus. And he often traveled to Belarus from a young age.
In autumn 2024, the man once again traveled to Belarus to visit relatives. He was detained during this trip.

The trial of the Lithuanian took place in spring 2026. On March 11, Miroslav was handed a harsh sentence — 15 years in a penal colony.
Now the KGB promises details of the case.

As propaganda states in the announcement, Trockis is an agent of the Lithuanian special services. He allegedly came to restore his parental home, but in reality, the KGB claims, to collect information about strategic Belarusian facilities. He, the report states, was under observation by Belarusian special services from the moment he crossed the border.
The KGB claims that Trockis's activities were not limited to surveillance: he, the report states, was involved in creating dead drops for other representatives of Lithuanian agents and used relatives' homes for clandestine overnight stays.
Details will be revealed on state TV in the evening.
