In the Minsk region, a traffic police officer was injured while on duty, the Interior Ministry's press service reports . The accident occurred on May 14 at about 13:15.

According to preliminary information, a 74-year-old driver of an Opel car hit an inspector who was near a service car with red and blue flashing lights on.
The injured person was taken to a medical facility, where he is being provided with the necessary assistance.
The Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov personally arrived at the scene.
