In the village of Galinova, a girl met a bear right on her dacha plot. The predator was resting between trees in the yard when Masha, who was playing outside, noticed it. Frightened, the girl immediately called her father, writes Onliner.by.
— Of course, I experienced a great shock when I met the bear. But at that moment, I only remembered that they are afraid of loud noises, and I started clapping my hands. Well, yes, it really helped, — says Masha's father, Dzmitry Barshchou.
Local residents say that this is not the first time a bear has been seen in the village — similar incidents happened a few years ago. The animal did not bother anyone, but it was difficult to rest peacefully with such a neighbor around.
Specialists remind: if you encounter a predator, you should not run away; it's better to calmly move backward and try to scare it away with loud noises — the animal is deterred by anything that creates noise: clapping hands, music on a mobile phone, whistling.
