A tragedy was narrowly averted in the Barysaŭ district: a small child could have drowned in an artificial pond, reports the press service of the Investigative Committee.

In the evening of May 28, in the agro-town of Loshnitsa, a woman was on the territory of her private house with her two young sons. While the children were playing in the backyard, she was planting plants in front of the house.
Suddenly, the mother heard crying and saw that her youngest son had fallen into a pond located on the property.
The woman immediately pulled the child out of the water, performed the necessary resuscitation actions, and called an ambulance. At this moment, the boy is in the hospital, where he continues to receive the necessary assistance.
An investigative and operational group worked at the scene. Currently, the Barysaŭ District Department of the Investigative Committee is conducting a check to ascertain all the circumstances of this incident.
