Viktoryia Siankevich Named Best TV Reporter in Belarus — for Live Reports from Alaska
On May 29, awards for the XVI National Television Contest «Televiarshynia» were presented in Minsk. State propagandists are traditionally nominated with these awards annually.
This year, the winner in the nomination «Best Reporter» was Viktoryia Siankevich, Deputy Chief Director of the Main Directorate of the «First Informational» TV channel. She received the award for her reports and live inclusions from the Russia — USA summit (the meeting between Uladzimir Putin and Donald Trump in Alaska).
Alena Syrova, host of the author's program «Surovy Pohlyad» (Stern View) and the socio-political talk show «Pa Sutnastsi» (Essentially) on STB, received the award for best host of a socio-political (publicistic) TV program.
Katsiaryna Tumas-Tishkevich, host of the daily informational-analytical program «Nashi Naviny» (Our News) on the «Second National TV Channel», became the best host of an informational program.
Kryscina Bendziankova was named the best regional television journalist — for the TV programs «Nasha Sprava» (Our Business), «Voblasc Intaresau» (Area of Interest), «Brend» (Brand), «Naviny Rehiona» (Region News), «Dnyami» (Recently) on the «Mogilev» TV and Radio Company.
Hanna Bayarchuk, host of «Homelski Efir» (Gomel Air) on the «Gomel» TV and Radio Company, was recognized as the best regional television host.
