The final decision will be made by Donald Trump.

Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth stated that the US is considering the possibility of kidnapping Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, American media report.

However, the final decision will be made by Donald Trump, he added.

Clouds have gathered over Cuba after the US captured Nicolás Maduro and his wife in Caracas on January 3, and then struck Iran.

Top officials in Washington have repeatedly stated that Cuba is next on the US's radar.

Washington intends to achieve a change in Cuba's political regime and will address this after the war with Iran is over, Donald Trump said last week.

"We have very good plans regarding Cuba. I think we will have to get rid of a regime that has been very harsh, very unpleasant. We will deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and as soon as that is done, on the way back we will stop briefly to take care of this. We want to help them," the head of the White House said during a conversation with journalists.

Выпью рюмочку за здоровье Трампа и его окружения, так со скотом и надо разговаривать.
