The England national team became a victim of thieves at the 2026 World Cup in the USA. Footballers' boots, official tournament balls, and key training equipment were stolen, reports Daily Mail.
The theft occurred during the transport of cargo from Florida to the national team's base in Kansas City, where the English will be for at least the next three weeks.
Coach Thomas Tuchel's team was supposed to hold their first training session in Kansas on June 13, but now staff are trying to figure out what was stolen and what was left.
Only one ball remained.
"We are investigating a possible theft of equipment from a team vehicle that arrived in Kansas City. The investigation is ongoing," the Kansas City Police Department reported.
