Car fatally hits pedestrian in Dzyarzhynsk district

The accident occurred on the evening of July 6 on the 322nd kilometer of the M-1 highway Brest — Minsk — border with Russia.

A 56-year-old resident of Brest region, driving a Renault truck with a semi-trailer, hit a 35-year-old man who was moving in the same direction.

The pedestrian died at the scene from the injuries sustained.

According to the Traffic Police, the deceased did not have reflective elements on his clothing. An investigation is being conducted into the accident.
