Lukashenka will ask the "heavenly office" for dry weather during harvest
Alexander Lukashenka emphasized the need for a high-quality harvesting campaign. He noted that this year there is a good harvest ripening in the fields, which is important to gather without losses. He intends to make an agreement.
According to Lukashenka, agrarians have already actively engaged in work and begun harvesting winter barley, which showed a decent result. The main problem at this stage remains rain. Lukashenka said that, judging by satellite images, a cyclone from the northwest will still bother the country in the coming days.
In this regard, Lukashenka stated that he would ask the "heavenly office" for the Lord to grant dry weather for the harvest period.
"I will ask the heavenly office to give [the Lord] dry weather. Because we have already gotten involved in the harvest," he said.
A few days ago, Lukashenka spoke in Grodno at the festival of national cultures and said that he "gave" the residents of Grodno rain: "You asked - I did it."
This rhetoric aligns well with his long-standing catchphrase "You asked for rain - I gave you rain," which has been circulating in collections of Lukashenka's pearls from the 90s.
