50-year-old Belarusian tourist climbed Mount Olympus. But she was brought down on a stretcher

Two rescue vehicles were dispatched to help her.

On Saturday, August 15, a rescue operation took place on Mount Olympus for a 50-year-old tourist from Belarus who was injured during a hiking trip.

As reported by in.gr, citing the Greek fire service, the woman was injured in the Agia Spilaio (Άγιο Σπήλαιο) area on Olympus.

After the injured person called emergency number 112 and her location was determined, five firefighters in two vehicles were dispatched to the scene.

Rescuers reached the tourist, placed her on a stretcher, and carried her to a safe location where an ambulance was already waiting for her.
