Among this year's participants in the ranking are two Belarusians: Dzianis Yarats, co-founder and CTO of AI startup Perplexity, and Ihar Tulchynski, founder of the investment fund WorldQuant.

Dzianis Yarats took 97th place. Forbes estimated his wealth at 2.1 billion dollars.

Yarats was born in Homiel and received his education at BSU, where he studied mathematics and computer science. In 2008, he reached the European final of the Google Code Jam competition, which took place in Zurich. He later worked as an engineer at Microsoft, where he was involved in the Bing search engine, and also participated in the development of the Quora service. Before creating Perplexity, he was a research scientist at Facebook AI Research.

In 2022, Yarats, along with two American partners, founded Perplexity — a company that develops an alternative to traditional search engines. The startup attracted its first investments in the year of its founding. According to Forbes, the company's valuation reached 20 billion dollars in 2025. Its investors include Jeff Bezos and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The second Belarusian on the list is Ihar Tulchynski. He took 113th place, and his wealth is estimated at 1.7 billion dollars.

Tulchynski began his career at AT&T, then worked at Interactive Brokers, and later moved to the Millennium hedge fund, founded by billionaire Izzy Englander.

In 2007, he founded the investment fund WorldQuant. The company now manages assets of approximately 17 billion dollars, including 7 billion dollars as a consultant for the Millennium hedge fund.
