Three Belarusians and two Ukrainians were arrested in Poland for espionage.

Polish special services have detained three Belarusian citizens and two Ukrainians for collaborating with foreign intelligence. According to the investigation, they received assignments through the Telegram messenger, and the reward was in cryptocurrency. The case was reported by the National Prosecutor's Office of Poland, writes Most.

According to the Polish Prosecutor's Office, the foreigners carried out their tasks from March 2024 to February 2025 in Rzeszów, Warsaw, Łódź and other localities. Their tasks included photographing critical infrastructure and locations important for state security. In addition, they were supposed to put up posters and create graffiti.

The suspects were detained on November 25 and 26. The Prosecutor's Office released their names. These are Belarusian citizens Victoria M., Anton M. and Vladimir U., as well as Ukrainian citizens Alexander S. and the minor Sofia X.

They have already been interrogated and charged. Under the incriminated articles, they could face from 5 to 30 years of imprisonment.

The court ordered the arrest of Victoria M., Anton M. and Alexander S. for three months. Sofia X. was placed in a center for minors. Vladimir U. is prohibited from leaving the country, and a measure of restraint not related to imprisonment was chosen for him due to health problems.
