On December 9, temporary restrictions on the use of airspace near Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport were introduced due to a drone attack. In this regard, Aeroflot flights to and from Minsk have also been canceled.

The flight from Moscow to Minsk scheduled for 18:35 has been canceled, as well as the flight from Minsk to Moscow at 20:10. The corresponding flights at 22:15 and 22:40 currently remain on the schedule.
"The airport continues to serve flights of Russian and foreign airlines for departure and arrival in coordination with the relevant authorities. There are adjustments to the flight schedule. 14 flights were diverted to alternate airfields, 16 flights have been canceled. Due to the introduced restrictions for flight safety, airlines are adjusting their flight schedules. Passenger service time has been increased. Passengers should be prepared for longer waits when serving flights for departure and arrival due to measures being taken to ensure safety," â stated the press service of Sheremetyevo Airport.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that Russian air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian drones flying towards Moscow.
