Creator of neo-Nazi brigade of Russian «Española» fans dies. Possibly killed during detention
Stanislav Orlov, commander of the Russian ultraright volunteer brigade of «Española» football fans, known by the nickname «Ispanets» (Spaniard), has died. His death was reported on the subdivision's Telegram channel. The funeral is scheduled for December 22 in Moscow, Astra reports.

The report states that the circumstances of his death remain unclear. According to «Española» representatives, central investigative bodies are currently establishing the exact cause and place of death, as well as persons who may be involved. Official information is promised to be published after the investigation is completed.
Approximately two weeks ago, the publication «Tsargrad,» linked to Konstantin Malofeev, a businessman close to the Kremlin, reported on Orlov's alleged detention in a case concerning illegal arms trafficking. After this, Edgar Zapashny, a well-known animal trainer and active supporter of the war in Ukraine, wrote on social media that «Stas is no more,» but soon deleted the post.
In neo-Nazi circles, particularly in the community of the «Rusich» sabotage and assault reconnaissance group, it is claimed that Orlov might have been killed during his detention. The pro-Kremlin channel Mash reported that «Ispanets» had been in a coma for several days, but did not specify the reason.
Stanislav Orlov participated in hostilities in Ukraine since 2014. In 2022, he created the «Española» brigade, which included hundreds of ultraright football fans. Officially, it was called the 88th Reconnaissance and Sabotage Brigade «Española,» and the numbers 88 encrypted the exclamation «Heil Hitler!» (H in the Latin alphabet is the eighth letter).
Among other things, the «Española» brigade was actively promoted by Lukashenka's propaganda; Hryhory Azaronak, in particular, was very enthusiastic about it. And on the state TV channel STB, they enthusiastically spoke about the pro-Russian activist from Belarus, Siarhei Lushch, saying that «Española, People's Militia, Rosgvardiya, Akhmat — is his element.»
In October 2025, it was announced that the brigade would be disbanded, and some of its fighters transferred to the Russian army. On December 18, «Española» officially stated that the unit no longer exists as a combat entity.
