In connection with a schoolboy's attack on students in the Moscow region, security measures are being strengthened in Belarusian schools
Yesterday, at a school in a settlement in Odintsovo district, a teenager, armed with a knife, attacked students and staff of the institution. He killed a fourth-grader and injured three people. In connection with the tragedy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking additional security measures in educational institutions of Belarus, the ministry's press service reports.

The head of the department gave a number of specific instructions. In particular, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security Department was tasked with strengthening the vigilance of security guards in schools and checking the serviceability of technical protection means.
Particular attention was drawn to the need for immediate response from patrols upon receiving alarm signals.
The head of the Main Department of Law Enforcement and Prevention was instructed to conduct briefings with school administrations on actions in case of emergencies. Employees of juvenile affairs inspections are to conduct individual work with students on preventive records.
