TikTok will become FIFA's first-ever so-called "preferred platform." This means closer cooperation and deeper integration, allowing the platform to offer wider and more diverse coverage of the tournament. Specifically, this involves increasing the amount of unique content and creating a primary space for fans and creators throughout the World Cup.

The agreement will be valid until the end of 2026. It provides for the possibility of showing live match fragments, publishing video clips, and access to exclusive materials prepared by FIFA specifically for TikTok.

In addition, broadcasters will be able to monetize championship broadcasts using TikTok's premium advertising tools. The platform will also implement anti-piracy measures to protect FIFA's intellectual property.

For the 2026 World Cup, a special interactive hub is planned to be launched based on TikTok GamePlan. It will include thematic videos, information about tickets, match viewing, as well as various elements for user interaction – unique stickers, filters, and gaming functions.
