Anatol Voitsekhovsky is a former entrepreneur who was evacuated by "Bysol" in 2023 due to political persecution and became an activist of the Belarusian community in Białystok. Recently, he secretly returned to Belarus, taking with him documents from the criminal case of his deceased neighbor Uladzimir Usera, whom Polish authorities suspected of espionage.
Today, Voitsekhovsky announced that he sought legal support from the "Prawda Polska" foundation, founded by Polish runaway Tomasz Szmydt.
According to information from a short video that Voitsekhovsky published on his Facebook page, they are jointly preparing appeals to the General Prosecutor's Office and other state bodies of Poland.
«As the sole witness, I am ready to testify about Uladzimir Usera's detention by Polish special services,» the man stated.
Voitsekhovsky noted that he intends to provide detailed testimony to the Polish Prosecutor's Office, report all known facts, and facilitate the establishment of the truth, as well as bringing the guilty to justice in accordance with Polish law.
«I have personally taken up this issue and I am confident that in the near future the guilty will receive their deserved punishment,» he added.
Recall that Tomasz Szmydt worked as a judge of the Voivodeship Administrative Court in Warsaw. In May 2024, he fled to Belarus and sought political asylum, which Lukashenka granted him at the end of the year. In Belarus, Szmydt actively appears in state media, works for BelTA, and founded his own "Prawda Polska" foundation.
