Russian Foreign Ministry: We need to be ready for prolonged hostilities
"We perfectly understand that Western countries have bet on the continuation of the conflict," the Russian foreign policy agency stated.

Russia needs to be ready for prolonged hostilities, as Europe, according to Moscow, will not allow the Ukrainian conflict to be settled in the near future. Radion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated this in an interview with TASS.

It is unlikely that this trend will be broken in the near future. Europe will continue to finance Ukraine. And on our part, there must be readiness for sufficiently prolonged hostilities, but with a well-thought-out strategy,” the diplomat said.
