The incident happened yesterday evening in Simon Bolivar Square in the center of the capital.

A 22-year-old girl was sitting on a bench when a tree growing nearby broke, and its branches fell on the Minsk resident, the Investigative Committee reports.
A passerby called an ambulance. Police officers nearby freed the injured girl and handed her over to medics, who took her to the hospital.
At the moment, her condition is assessed as stable, and there is no threat to her life.
