Ukrainians attacked a plant in Udmurtia that produces "Iskander" and "Oreshnik" missiles
The Votkinsk plant, located in Russia's Udmurtia and producing "Iskander-M", "Topol-M", and "Oreshnik" missiles, came under a night Ukrainian attack, Astra reports . Witness video was shot approximately half a kilometer from the possible epicenter of the fire.

Local residents report in chats that workshops No. 22 and No. 36 were damaged during the attack. According to Ukrainian analysts, the strike was carried out not by UAVs, but by "Flamingo" missiles, although there is no confirmation of this yet. The city of Votkinsk is almost one and a half thousand kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

The Votkinsk Plant is a strategic defense enterprise and is under sanctions by the USA, Great Britain, EU, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, and Ukraine.

The head of the Udmurt Republic, Alexander Brechalov, confirmed the attack by the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) on "one of the republic's facilities." According to him, the strike was carried out by drones.
There are also casualties, but their number has not been disclosed.
In August 2023, an explosion already occurred at the plant in workshop No. 95, damaging one of the buildings where missiles were assembled for shipment to Ukraine. The cause was then stated as "equipment malfunction."
