Alexander Yakouchyts takes the helm of MART.

Prior to this, he worked as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, where he oversaw issues of import substitution, food production, export and import, as well as tariff and non-tariff regulation.
His track record also includes work in the fields of trade, consumer cooperation, "Bellegprom" (Belarusian Light Industry Concern) and "Belgospishcheprom" (Belarusian State Food Industry Concern).
Previously, the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade was Artur Karpovich.
Alexander Yakouchyts was born in 1976 in Brest. He graduated from the Belarusian State Economic University with a degree in "commercial activity" (1997).
He began his career in 1994 as an administrator of store No. 7 of the Brest "Gospodtorg" base. From 1996 to 2002, his career path was associated with JSC "Brest Central Department Store," where he rose from a second-category merchandiser to head of the merchandise, and then commercial, department.
In 2006, he headed the trade department of the Brest Regional Consumer Union and has been working in consumer cooperation ever since. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Brest Regional Consumer Union. He then was Deputy Chairman of the Board of Belkoopsoyuz (Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies).
He also held the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for State Property Management and Privatization Issues of "Bellegprom," and then for five years was Deputy Chairman of the "Belgospishcheprom" concern.
In August 2025, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food.
