Four Russian officers killed in Kursk Oblast — attacked by "Baba Yaga"
On the morning of March 6, 2026, an attack was carried out in the area of the settlement of Tyotkino, in Russia's Kursk Oblast, on a group of officers from military unit 78986. Four were killed.
According to information from the "Spy Dossier" channel, the strike was carried out using a heavy "Baba Yaga" type drone.
Three 82 mm caliber mines were dropped on the group of servicemen. As a result of the hit, the officers sustained injuries incompatible with life.
As a result of the attack, the Russian army lost four officers:
Leukhin A.G. — Major;
Putilin A.A. — Captain;
Baal V.S. — Senior Lieutenant;
Epifanov A.A. — Senior Lieutenant.
Tyotkino is located directly on the border with Ukraine.
