The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an oil depot with drones in the city of Armavir in Russia's Krasnodar Krai. After the attack, a fire broke out on the facility's territory, reported the region's operational headquarters.

It is reported that the fire covered about 200 square meters. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. 91 people and 26 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Also, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that on the night of Sunday, March 8, 72 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones were allegedly intercepted and destroyed over various regions of Russia.
The largest number of drones, according to these data, were shot down over Astrakhan Oblast and annexed Crimea — 20 devices each. In Rostov Oblast, the destruction of 14 drones was reported; in Belgorod Oblast — eight. Another four were shot down in Krasnodar Krai, three — in Kursk Oblast, two — over Volgograd Oblast, and one — over the waters of the Azov Sea.
