Ukraine has sent interceptor drones and a group of experts for them to protect American military bases in Jordan, the president stated in an interview with The New York Times.
According to Zelenskyy, the US requested assistance on Thursday, and the Ukrainian group departed the next day. The White House did not respond to the publication's question about whether the US had requested help from Ukraine.

"Kyiv hopes to gain points in US-mediated peace talks. Relations remain strained. On Thursday, President Donald Trump reiterated that he considers Zelenskyy a greater obstacle to a peace deal than President Vladimir Putin," the publication comments.
The Ukrainian leader told the publication that he wants to help Middle Eastern countries but must also balance these requests with Ukraine's domestic needs.
