What does an apartment in a 19th-century house in the center of Minsk look like?

It can be rented for a day. From the balcony, there's a gorgeous view.

This house at Internatsiyanalnaya, 14 was built back in the 19th century by a merchant. Originally, there were only two floors and six apartments, but in the 1920s, another residential level was added. The house also stands out for the shape of its window openings: they are different on each floor. In this house, a two-room apartment with a view of the roofs of historical buildings is rented for a day, Realt writes.

Merchant Neva Gringauz began construction of the house at Internatsiyanalnaya, 14 in 1885. Within a year, he built a two-story brick building. In its center was a pass-through arch with pediments on both sides. Despite the house bearing the owner's name, he owned it for a short time. Already in 1894, the building was bought by Minsk banker Leopold Lurie. His initials "L.L." are present on the forged grille in the arch to this day.

Under his ownership, the building's premises were used as residential apartments. There were six in total. In the early 1920s, another level began to be added to the house. Fortunately, the three-story building was not damaged during the war. Subsequently, the layout of the top level was slightly changed.

Currently, on the third floor, a renovated two-room apartment of 46 square meters can be rented for a day.

Renovations were carried out here in 2024. The kitchen and living room were combined. The interior is designed in a classic style, with wooden flooring.

An dining area is also equipped here, and there's a TV.

For sleeping, there is a bed in an isolated bedroom, as well as a sofa bed in the living room.

From the bedroom, there is access to an open balcony, offering a view of the historical street.

The apartment is rented for a minimum of two days. The price for this period is 1,760 rubles (621 dollars).
