Remember the woman tricked by Russian tourists? A company, completely unrelated, offered her compensation
The story about the unpleasant experience of renting out an apartment to a young family from Russia sparked a flurry of comments. Many Russians apologized for their compatriots, and one company decided to go further and offered the affected landlady compensation.

A few days ago, Belarusian Darya told about her sad experience of renting out an apartment in Mogilev. A young family from Russia canceled their booking on the eve of their arrival, but in fact used the accommodation: the landlady had managed to send them instructions on how to access the premises, and the guests secretly stayed there for a day.
Under the relevant TikTok video, the most popular comment showed that Belarusians have no illusions about the moral qualities of Russians: "Is anyone surprised?"

And such a response is far from the only one.
"Are you still surprised?", "I'm not even surprised", "I'm not surprised in the slightest", "Honestly, not surprised", "Didn't surprise me at all," — Belarusians write.

"And then they wonder: 'Why don't people like us?'", "I'm not surprised by Russians at all: the more I encounter Russians at work, the more I love our Belarusians", "And then questions arise why Belarusians are unfriendly towards Russians," — other users add.

"Meet: the 'brotherly people, who should be loved, accepted, and respected'", "They are brothers and sisters, love them," — viewers ironically note.
"With relatives like these, it's better to be an orphan," — they are answered in the comments.

"You shouldn't judge an entire country by one family. There are bad people in every state," — another viewer retorts.

The second most popular comment was: "Why send instructions before payment?"

Some users point out that such an intrusion into an apartment could constitute a criminal offense.

At the same time, there were also those who felt it necessary to apologize for the behavior of their compatriots.

"Many Russians do not respect Belarusians. I was in Minsk and I understand that Belarus is wonderful, and Belarusians are cultured people. I have more respect for them than for my compatriots," — another user notes.

An unexpected turn in the story occurred when a company that sells sanctioned equipment online publicly offered to compensate the Belarusian woman for the damage incurred:
"Our company has no relation to this situation. But we deeply sympathize with the Belarusian woman who faced such disrespect. We are ready to compensate her for the losses. For this, she simply needs to contact us. We will help restore justice."
