Scammers called a Minsk resident and said her apartment was being sold in two different places
To save it, she had to sell the property herself as soon as possible.

A Belarusian woman shared a sad story, the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service reports.
She received a call from alleged law enforcement officers who informed her that her apartment had been put up for sale twice by fraudsters. To save it, she had to sell the property herself as soon as possible.
During the video call session, they looked convincing: in uniform and with IDs, sitting at a desk.
Then they recommended a real estate agency to her; the realtor brought five people the next day. One woman agreed to buy the apartment.
The Minsk resident sold the apartment for $49,800 and "declared" the money by transferring it to accounts controlled by the scammers.
