As the doctor says, excessively tight clothing, as well as shapewear or compression underwear, carries risks in the form of health consequences.
Main Risk Factors
Impaired blood circulation. Tight jeans, pencil skirts, and shapewear physically compress blood vessels. This leads to stagnant phenomena in the pelvic organs and worsens their oxygen supply.
Hormonal imbalances. Chronic blood stagnation in the pelvic area negatively affects the reproductive system and can disrupt normal hormonal balance.
Gynecological diseases. Regular and prolonged wearing of excessively tight clothing significantly increases the risk of developing various pathologies.
«Blood circulation is disturbed, stagnant phenomena occur in the pelvic organs, hormonal balance is disrupted, and this can lead to the development of a number of gynecological diseases», — warns the doctor.
Tips for a Safe Wardrobe
Compression underwear or tight jeans should be worn rarely and for a minimal time.
It is better to replace items that are too constricting with trousers and skirts that offer sufficient freedom of fit.
At home, it is recommended to wear exclusively loose-fitting clothing — this allows the body to recover, and blood to circulate without hindrance.
