Belarusian Footballer Fined for Advertising Car Sales During a Match
Dmitry Antsilevsky, a footballer for Dzyarzhynsk "Arsenal", found himself in quite an interesting situation. The Belarusian Football Federation fined him 30 basic units (1350 rubles).

Recently, the Belarusian Football Federation held another meeting of the control and disciplinary committee, at which footballer Dmitry Antsilevsky was fined 30 basic units. The reason for the decision is not specified, but the punishment was imposed under Article 100 "Other violations".
It states: "In the event that any person commits violations and/or non-compliance with the regulatory documents of FIFA, UEFA or the Association, which are not expressly provided for by this Code, but are similar (analogous) in nature to the aforementioned violations, such person also falls under the jurisdiction of this Code. In such a case, the disciplinary bodies have the right to independently choose a punishment from the list of sanctions, guided by the principle of reasonableness and fairness."
The publication "Belarusian Football" suggested that Antsilevsky might have been fined for an unusual performance. During a recent match against "Baranovichi", Dmitry scored a goal directly from a corner kick.
After this, he showed a business card with the inscription "Pont Auto" to the camera and, putting his hand to his ear, suggested calling the number.
As it turned out, the footballer thus advertised a company that deals with the selection, purchase, and delivery of cars from the USA, Canada, and China. A similar gesture was recently made by Tomáš Skublak, who plays in the Canadian Premier League for "Inter" from Toronto. The guy showed his own business card after scoring a goal. It turned out that, besides football, Tomáš Skublak works as a real estate agent.
The press service of the Belarusian Football Federation confirmed to an Onliner journalist that the fine was indeed for advertising, and noted: similar gestures are punished not only in Belarus, but also at major international tournaments.
In 2012, Danish national team forward Nicklas Bendtner showed underwear with the name of a betting company while celebrating a goal. As a result, the Dane was fined 100 thousand euros and disqualified for one match.
