Tomorrow at the Warsaw Book Fair there will be meetings with Fiaduta and Babaryka
Sunday, May 31, will be the final day of this year's International Book Fair in Warsaw, during which several interesting Belarusian events are planned. Among other things, meetings are scheduled with former political prisoners, literary critic Aliaksandr Fiaduta and former banker and politician Viktar Babaryka.

The meeting with literary critic, political scientist, and author of the book "Lexicon 'Kalasou pad siarpom tvaim'" Aliaksandr Fiaduta, written in the KGB pre-trial detention center, will be dedicated not only to Belarusian literature but also to the experience of imprisonment, the fate of an intellectual under authoritarianism, and culture as a space of inner freedom.
It will take place at 12:00 (Forum B).

An hour later, at 13:00, "Despite the Prison" is planned at the same location – a meeting centered around Sabina Brylo's book "The Case of Viktar Babaryka".
The meeting will be dedicated to the history of the candidate for president of Belarus in the 2020 elections, patron of culture, and former political prisoner. The discussion will touch upon the events of 2020, mechanisms of political persecution, and the inner resilience of a person in conditions of prison and repression.
After that, at 14:00, an autograph session with Viktar Babaryka is planned at the Belarusian stand of the fair (Salon "Wolna Białoruś" – stand 11/D5).
In addition, three more book presentations will be held at the Belarusian stand on this day:
13.00. "Noradrenaline", Yauhen Anashkin (Gutenberg).
15.00. "Names of Freedom. Part 1", Uladzimir Arlou (Kamunikat).
16.00 "Dinner with a Stranger's Lover", Valiantsina Aksak (Kamunikat).
