Police explained why they did not deport the "Gelandewagen" driver from Kazakhstan, who parked on the sidewalk in Minsk
Today, the 32-year-old driver of the SUV with fancy Kazakhstan license plates was summoned to the migration unit.

The actions of the "Gelandewagen" SUV driver, who parked directly on the sidewalk near the entrance of "Akademkniga" near the "Akademiya Nauk" metro station in Minsk, caused a stir on social media. Police found the driver – a 32-year-old citizen of Kazakhstan.
They also discovered that this was not the woman's only violation – this "Gelandewagen" was parked in the "Zamok" shopping center parking lot in a spot designated for vehicles of people with disabilities.
Traffic monitoring officers also found that the woman was transporting a 2-year-old boy in the front passenger seat without a special restraint device.
The State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) press service reported that the woman was brought to justice for the violations. Exactly how, was not specified.
Today, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) announced that the driver was summoned to the citizenship and migration unit at her place of residence. There she was officially warned that in case of repeated illegal actions, she would be expelled from the country.

"Taking into account that the woman has four minor children in her care, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has decided to give her a last chance," the MIA reported.
