In a spacious one-room apartment near Traktarny, bas-reliefs, brick, bright murals, and designer furniture have been combined.
This apartment on Budyonny Street in Minsk is from the series "better to see once". Because describing this flight of fancy in words is quite difficult.
Looking at a typical Stalin-era apartment, built in 1955, you would never say that it could be a portal to an alternative reality. The 40 square meters feature such a unique renovation that even "Kufar" decided to make a video review of it.
From the Soviet stairwell, you enter either a Pushkin fairy tale or a fantasy world. The blogger who did the review immediately began to quote: "By the Lukomorye, a green oak tree..." — because part of the apartment is occupied by a voluminous decorative tree. Its roots emerge from the floor, and its branches reach the ceiling.
On one of them, you can see a squirrel figurine. The girl joked that this is the ideal apartment for Snow White.
The walls are painted with scenes of European city streets. You can also see a bas-relief — a headless angel-woman.
The floor is self-leveling — imitating wood. And a huge flower has been created to zone the space. The brick window sills with street names also attract attention.
Against this backdrop, the ceiling, painted like a sky with clouds, is no longer surprising. By the way, you can look at it from a round bed.
However, the kitchen furniture looks traditional — they say it's Italian and very expensive.
The owner, Dmitry, assures that all decorative elements are made by hand. But he cannot characterize the style: he says it's "designer, individual." And he assures: everything looks better in real life than in the photos.
By the way, Dmitry is a future police officer. He studies at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He is asking $89,500 for the one-room apartment.
