On June 30, Ryzhankou met with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono as part of the preparations for Lukashenka's visit.
“During the meeting, the ministers discussed preparations for the upcoming state visit, including a number of bilateral documents and agreements planned for signing during the visit. Both sides expressed appreciation for the close coordination between their ministries and agencies, which ensured the successful preparation of the visit,” stated the press release from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Three weeks ago, Lukashenka said in an interview with Al Arabiya channel that he might fly to Indonesia in the near future.
"We have good relations with Vietnam, with Myanmar. With Indonesia (my next visit there will be), good relations have been established; we sell there, and they ask for our technologies," he said.
Lukashenka has been in China since Sunday.
