Vitebsk resident wrote songs about Lukashenka, but gained popularity in Russia — among those who support the war
Pavel Ageyev is not just a poet and composer. He is known primarily online: under the nickname @a8p4s, the author has accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. There he uploads his songs, the lyrics of which he writes himself, and the music — with the help of artificial intelligence. With the help of AI, he also creates videos for his works. A mark of success for him is the growth in the number of views, writes "Vitebskaya Vesna".
But recently, Pavel Ageyev's songs began to be performed in Russia. Especially often — at competitions and concerts with a military bias, where "SVO heroes" are mentioned. Most often, performers choose two songs by the Vitebsk author — "I am a hero's daughter" and "I will be your angel".
Pavel Ageyev also tried to write "ideological" works on Belarusian themes. On his pages there are songs dedicated, for example, to employees of the Security Department, as well as video greetings for professional holidays of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the KGB. Aliaksandr Lukashenka was also repeatedly the hero of Pavel Ageyev's songs, especially during the last presidential elections.
Ageyev also has a song dedicated to the state emblem and flag. And quite recently, the author uploaded his work, written on the occasion of the beginning of the "Great Patriotic War" — the date June 22 was widely celebrated in Belarus this year.
He promotes his creativity himself — with the help of promotional videos on his pages. But among Belarusian performers, Pavel Ageyev's songs are not in great demand, despite all efforts to conform to the ideological vector.
