In Grodno, in the Zarytsa microdistrict, a man died during excavation work, the Investigative Committee reported .

According to preliminary data, in the afternoon, workers from a private construction organization were laying sewage networks. During the work, a ground collapse occurred.
The 41-year-old director of the company was in the trench and was buried by earth. The injuries sustained were fatal.
An investigative and operational group worked at the scene. Investigators, together with specialists, conducted an inspection, documented the circumstances of the incident, interviewed witnesses, and seized documents related to labor protection and safety regulations.
