Cut-off Score — 395, Competition — 13 People Per Place. The Ministry of Education Summarized Enrollment Results for State-Funded Places
Enrollment for state-funded places in the country's higher education institutions proceeded as planned, and the leadership is satisfied with the results. This was reported to journalists by First Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Bakhanovich, writes BelTA.
This year, almost 32 thousand applicants have been enrolled in state-funded places, becoming first-year students. All planned targets have been fully met.
The average competition across the country was 1.7 people per place. Approximately 54.3 thousand applications were submitted for the planned 32 thousand places.
Of these, 5.3 thousand people were enrolled without entrance examinations and outside of competition. These include winners of international and republican olympiads, school graduates with gold and silver medals, and holders of distinction diplomas after graduating from colleges.
For some specialties, it reached almost 13 people per place.
At BSU, for the specialty "Graphic Design and Multimedia Design", the competition was 13 people per place. For a number of other specialties, the competition reached 7-8 people per place.
